Lynette Louise MS, BCN-T, CBS
Board Certified in Neurofeedback
Autism Specialist

In 2003 Lynette Louise became the only professional from the Autism
Treatment Center of America to be certified in two modalities: Option Process Mentor Counselor and Child Facilitator. Though she is experienced in many behavioral modalities training from The Autism Treatment Center shaped her approach the most. Lynette has been practicing the Option Process since 1997 and working with autism since 1983, when she first began adopting children (four of whom were diagnosed on the Autism spectrum). Having helped hundreds of adults and children with a combination of playroom, dialogue, and family dynamics counseling, in 2004 Lynette began using Neurofeedback as an additional therapeutic modality for healing the brain. Formerly of The Brain Injury Therapy Clinic in Westlake where she worked closely with Dr. Burke chief scientist for EEG Spectrum, Lynette has successfully helped clients with Bipolar Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Alzheimer's, Parkinson’s, Tourettes, Seizure Disorders ADHD, Depression, Addiction, Sensory Integration Dysfunction, and Traumatic Brain Injury.
Lynette also has a one-woman show on the subject of psychology versus physiology and is available for speaking engagements. To learn more about this side of Lynette Click here: www.lynettelouise.com
Our Specialists
Brandessa Hale
Brandessa is Lynette’s daughter and proof that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! She has trained exclusively under Lynette and shares her unique approach to Neurofeedback. After growing up in a home with four adopted siblings on the Autism spectrum, she has had the incredible opportunity to experience first hand the benefits of Neurofeedback and playroom therapy within her own family. As a result she brings a unique blend of professional knowledge and real-life experience to her work. Brandessa is also a Licensed Massage Therapist and can integrate Neuromuscular therapy for sensory integration when needed. At present she is the only therapist in the country to offer Neurossage; a combination of Neurofeedback and Massage Therapy. In addition to her life experience, she has extensive professional experience working with a variety of disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Autism, and Mental Retardation. Brandessa has an incredibly compassionate nature and a deep understanding of family dynamics, approaching each new child with sincere interest and passion. She has two children of her own and currently resides in Santa Monica, CA.
Tsara Shelton
Tsara is also Lynette’s daughter in this family-run business. She is the mother of four delightful boys; two of whom displayed symptoms of autism in their early years. All are currently in the regular school system and none receive special education programming. Tsara has spent most of her years as a caregiver. She began her career working for a small employee daycare in a Physical Therapy center in Houston Texas. She brought creativity and patience to the job and has worked doing respite care with children of all ages. Tsara provides support for parents and a special program for siblings during the time the challenged child is engaged in intensive, in-home sessions with our play and neurofeedback team. She helps siblings understand their challenged brother or sister. Tsara is invaluable during our work with large families and families needing an extra pair of loving hands during sessions.

Re: Lynette Louise
I have had the privilege of working, as a mental health provider and medical consultant, with Ms. Louise with her neurofeedback training work for almost 5 years. She has always been professional, courteous, and respectful in her behavior and attitude with the specified clients and their families.
Ms. Louise has a superb grasp of the neuro-anatomy, neuro-physiology especially as related to neuro-feedback. She always tries to reason why or how a treatment is working, to have a theoretical framework for her choices of modalities. In addition to the excellent intellectual grasp and knowledge of her varied areas of training, she has an uncommon gift of a “6th sense” that allows her to be “tuned into” the clients, their needs and what approaches will be helpful in the given situation. Her people sensitivity has allowed her to be effective in some very difficult situations. Her approach to working with the client is flexibility in response to the situation and yet deliberately chosen—not just happenstance--to work for optimal effectiveness.
I have no hesitation in recommending Ms. Louise as a fully competent, trained, empathetic professional in her varied areas of expertise.
Sincerely,
Rebecca M Argo, MD
